South Florida car broker
Honk is your car broker in South Florida. We find the car, negotiate the price with our dealer network and deliver it to your door. You never set foot on a lot.
What a car broker does for you
A car broker is a professional buyer who works on your side of the deal. Instead of you driving from dealership to dealership and negotiating against people who do it every day, Honk does the legwork. We pin down the exact vehicle you want, go to our contacts at 300+ dealerships, get dealers competing for the sale and negotiate the out-the-door price.
When the deal is right, you approve it, the dealer sends the paperwork to you and the car is delivered to your home or office. The whole process happens on the phone and by email.
New and used cars
We broker new vehicles from every major brand, plus certified pre-owned and used cars. For used vehicles we look at history reports, ownership, mileage and condition before anything gets in front of you, and we tell you plainly when a car isn’t worth the money.
Why it usually costs less
Dealers price for the buyer who walks in tired and uninformed. We know current transaction prices, regional incentives, loyalty and conquest rebates, and which dealer fees are negotiable. On top of that, we shop your trade-in for its real value instead of taking the first number a single store offers.
How a car broker saves you money
A car broker earns its fee in three places. First, price: dealers compete for the deal instead of one store setting it. Second, the finance office: add-ons like tire and wheel or dent plans stay off the contract unless you want them, and the rate can’t be quietly marked up when you bring outside approval. Third, fees: Florida’s average dealer doc fee is about $969 and isn’t capped by law, so it’s worth negotiating. On a typical $50,000 new car we estimate a Honk client keeps about $1,100 to $4,500 after our fee. See the pricing page for how we get there.
What to ask any car broker
- Is the fee flat, or a percentage of the car? (Ours is a flat $499.)
- Do you take money from dealers? (We don’t.)
- Will I see the full out-the-door price in writing before I agree?
- Do I have to visit the dealership to sign? (Not with us.)
- Who handles the title and registration?
- What happens to my trade-in?
A car broker who can’t answer those plainly isn’t working for you.
Title, registration and your plate are processed through the dealer with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, so there’s no separate trip to a tag office.

Car Broker FAQ
How much does a car broker cost in South Florida?
Honk charges one flat fee per vehicle: $499 for first-time clients and $249 for first responders and repeat clients. There’s no percentage of the car price.
Who actually sells me the car?
A franchised or licensed dealership sells and titles the vehicle, so it’s a standard dealer sale with the normal manufacturer warranty. Honk negotiates the deal on your side.
Do I have to go to a dealership?
No. We handle the negotiation, the dealer sends the paperwork to you and the vehicle is delivered to your door in South Florida.
